Financial literacy is defined as the ability to read, analyze, manage and communicate about the personal financial conditions that affect material well-being. It includes the ability to discern financial choices, discuss money and financial issues without (or despite) discomfort, plan for the future and respond competently to life events that affect every day financial decisions, including events in the general economy.
- Student Binders
Your student portfolio binder should be a culmination of all assignments, quizzes, assessments, projects, and weekly reflections. All of the information should be organized in chronological date order. You may include tabs to keep your material more organized; however, this is not a requirement. Binders will be collected and reviewed at many different times so it's best to keep them up-to-date and organized regularly.
- Weekly Writing Reflections
You will be required to complete at least one weekly journal response. This response will be included in your student portfolio binder. Your response will help you to think critically about an important element from our weekly topic(s) and reflect upon the material discussed. You should use proper sentence structure, capitalization, and punctuation in your reflection.
